So often, we have an idea, goal or dream that means so much to us yet we just aren’t making meaningful progress. When we stall, our instinct is to blame ourselves – if we would just try harder or want it more, things would be different. Maybe.
Or, maybe it’s because we are focusing on changing the wrong thing. We are surrounded by messages, like “5 ways to be more productive” or “3 things every millionaire does before breakfast”, trying to tell us we can be better if we just change our habits. Those are skillsets.
New skillsets are fantastic – but you won’t get far if you still haven’t changed your mindset.
Whether you make progress on your idea, goal or dream is dependent on your mindset. You can have all the skills in the world, but they won’t mean anything if your mind isn’t along for the ride.
